EdPal is our brand new digital learning platform for students and teachers, which will host all of our Junior Cycle titles and their associated resources (PowerPoints, videos, Teacher’s Resource Books, and more) all in one place
Upcoming Webinar
EdPal will be available for all incoming First Year students this September and we’re inviting you to join our upcoming webinar series to explore the platform in advance and discover how EdPal can transform the digital classroom.
It’s much more than just somewhere to store ebooks. It brings together interactive ebooks, assignments, marking tools, student responses and resources on one easy to use platform.
During the webinar, we will demonstrate:
– responsive and accessible ebooks
– teacher and student note taking tools
– assignment creation, submission and marking
resource sharing
– simplified ebook license management
We know that different times work for different teachers and schools, so we’re hosting two webinar sessions, please choose whichever one suits you best. – Wednesday May 27th at 7pm. Register here
What is EdPal?
- Truly interactive ebooks – students and teachers can make text, audio or drawn notes in their book which will save and synchronise across platforms.
- Assignments made easy – allows you to set, assign and mark students’ work. The tasks and activities that exist in our printed books and activity books have been digitised to be completed onscreen. You can also allow students the option to upload a file if you would still like to receive written.
- All of your Educate.ie resources in one place – Ebooks, PowerPoints, Teacher Resource Books and more.
- Accessible for every learner – responsive design for any screen size, dyslexia-friendly fonts, improved colour contrast and much more.
- No internet? No problem. EdPal ebooks and activities work offline – students can download full books, individual chapters or assignments and complete notes or tasks offline.

- Students notes are just for them, while teachers notes are delivered to students’ books so you can easily highlight key information, provide additional direction or share tips.
- Teachers can replace gathering up copies with setting, assigning and marking work on-device. You can also allow students to upload additional materials if you want to see diagrams, images or handwritten work.
- Students will be notified of new assignments, complete tasks on-screen and have a record of marked work. EdPal assignments work with iPad stylus.
- EdPal puts more power in schools’ hands.
- Teachers can send password reset prompts to students directly from EdPal.
- School admins can add new student or teacher users to their school whenever they wish; or reassign a class to a new teacher.
- School admins can assign ebooks to new users – you will never be short of licences or waiting on a redeem code.
